Benone Beach is a recipient of the European Blue Flag and Seaside Award and a key visitor asset for the Limavady area. With seven miles of golden sand and magnificent views across to Donegal, it is a haven for nature lovers. The area is rich in flora and fauna, including many species of birds and shellfish.

 

Benone Beach is an attractive place for a family day out and includes picnic areas, water sports, and fishing. The visitor complex includes a supervised playground, outdoor paddling pool, golf course, campsite and an award winning caravan park.

 

The facilities were undergoing a major redevelopment and the council took the opportunity to rebrand area.

 

Traditionally Benone beach and the Benone Visitor Complex have been seen as two distinct entities. The rebranding exercise brought these under a single overarching identity.

 

The new identity appeals to all users of the beach and visitor facilities. It is colourful, cheerful, informal and designed to integrate harmoniously with the new signage system that we also developed for the client.
