August Craft Month (ACM) is an annual celebration of contemporary craft that takes place across Northern Ireland. It comprises over one hundred craft events including talks, exhibitions and demonstrations. ACM is supported by Arts Council NI and Invest NI.

 

Each year ACM adopts a different theme and in 2009 the programme emphasis was contemporary craft practice. 

Carefully chosen photographs of the best pieces from the range of exhibitions were used to foreground the theme. These were combined with a clean, gallery-white layout to promote the idea that craft and art are commensurate.
